Album #9 - Spring-Summer 2005
Well, some time has passed since last I published some photos here on our webspace. We've been driving
here and there, hiking, biking, and canoeing. The boys and I completed an adventure race and finished 2nd!
Vince and Brad are fierce competitors, and I have enough ego to prevent me from slowing them down too much. Meghan and
I were out on the French River again, doing a 3 day trip with Chris and Kathy at the end of July. I jumped back in the
canoe a day later with Randi, Vince, and Brad for a 4 day trip into Temagami while Meghan spent time finishing off
a course for her Masters.
And of course, the big news for August is that this is our last month in Canada for awhile! Meghan has a job with Maple Leaf
International school in Trinidad, starting at the end of the month. I've finished work for Dufferin Vets and I'm spending my plentiful time
off canoeing and swimming and reading (and updating this webpage). It's very sad to leave my co-workers behind --
I've been very happy with my work and Dr.Ted Slumskie was an exceptional guy to work under. We'll be thinking and missing
all of our friends in Orangeville. Stay tuned for some news from the Caribbean soon!
