We have been lucky to have a few more visitors brave enough to trust our cooking and our hospitality here in Trinidad! My sister, Jen, came down in December and had the dubious distinction of witnessing the rainy season in full swing. We managed to squeak in a few sunny moments at the beaches, and Jen assures us that she really enjoyed her vacation.

In January, Meghan's grandparents made the long voyage south to spend some time with us. I hope they don't think they had the whirlwind tour of Trinidad -- we tried to curb our enthusiasm a bit and limit our excursions to one a day! It was really wonderful to have a chance to spend so much time with Gran and Grandad.
