Trini Guide (pdf format) prepared by an underemployed Neil!

Trinidad, and its sister island, Tobago, is a Caribbean country in the south Caribbean, just north of the
coast of Venezuela. Trinidad is one of the largest industrial and economic centres in the Caribbean while Tobago
remains the quiet tourist destination. For this reason, travelling and living in Trinidad
is quite economical, and the island is blessed with beautiful valleys, lush hillsides,
remote beaches, and a vibrant culture.

Places to see when you're here would include: the Asa Wright Nature
Reserve, which, to my mind, is as close to a tropical Eden you'll
ever find; Maracas Beach (and Richard's bake and shark!); the never-
ending stretch of beach on the east coast called Manzanilla and Mayaro
beach; the city of Port-of-Spain, especially nice when viewed from one of the roads
winding along the mountains to the north of the city; Queen's Park Savannah for
a morning or evening constitutional; Mount St. Benedict and the Pax Guest House;
and Neil and Meghan Lawrence, voted two of the best guides for 2005 - 2006!
